A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
This upcoming Griefshare season we are offering two (2) different groups, On Tuesdays we will offer an online meeting at 6pm starting February 10th. Then on Wednesday afternoons starting February 11th, we will also offer an in person meeting at the church. Registration in advance is required for the online group, but anyone is welcome to come at any point. So please reach out with any questions and we will respond as soon as possible.
We will meet each week unless the weather is severe, we do not cancel unless the church decides to cancel all Mid-week activities.
Childcare is not provided, but please reach out if this will be an issue for you joining and we might see how we can help.
Please note that we provide light snacks with coffee and water each week, but if you have any allergies, we need to know in advance.
We look forward to helping you on this part of your journey.
God Bless!
The Holidays can be one of the hardest "new" seasons after the loss of a special loved one. Join us the in early November for a special one time meeting focused on the holiday seasons. It will be offered both online and in-person.
As with the regular GriefShare Group, please reach out with any questions and we will answer them as soon as possible.
While no one asks to be a part of the grief journey, it is a road that we all travel at one point or another. We are not a stranger to the GriefShare Program, having hosted several in the past, we know that through our meetings some of your pain can be lifted as you work through your journey and meet others who are on the same road.
