Our Vision
We want to see the women of LABC live lives where they adorn the gospel.
We recognize that women need the same things men need. They need theology. They need to know from Scripture who God is, who they were created to be, and how to live in such a way that Christ is preeminent. We want to see the women of LABC live lives where they adorn the gospel.
Based on the command in Titus 2, we aim to encourage women to teach what is good: Moms who raise children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, wives who lovingly submit to their husbands, and career women who work for the glory of God.
Gathering Opportunities
Ladies Luncheon
Once a month the ladies get together to share fellowship and a meal at various restaurants in Athens or Tyler.
Koinonia Fellowship
Koinonia is the Greek word for fellowship or communion. The women gather once a quarter to share in fellowship with one another for encouragement.
Women's Prayer Group
The Ladies of LABC meet every Monday at 10a for prayer.
